Biographical Information: Stephen Sherman
Stephen Sherman is a Founding Member of Vietnam Veterans for Factual History and the Series Editor for the Indochina Series of VVFH publications.
He served as a Civil Affairs/Psyops Officer with 5th Special Forces Group (Abn) in Pleiku and Nha Trang, Viet Nam, 1967-1968. He returned to Viet Nam as a civilian, as Chief of Plans & Programs for the Viet Nam Regional Exchange from 1969-1971. He has a B.A. in English from Tufts University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
He spent some time in various capacities in SE Asia from 1973 to 1979 including a stint as Managing Director of Air Maldives.
He owned a successful computer leasing business in the U.S. after that and, in retirement, acts as an archivist and historian to document the efforts of Special Forces in South East Asia 1954-1975. He has produced many monographs and books on that and other subjects. And he has been a frequent presenter and participant in the Texas Tech University Vietnam Symposia.
