Thomas Vallely
Top veteran consultant to Burns, participated in VVAW 1971 medal toss and is a friend of antiwar activists Father Drinan and a supporter of John Kerry. In 1989, Vallely founded Harvard University’s Vietnam Program, and in 1994, he established the Fulbright Economics Teaching Program in Ho Chi Minh City. He has since been associated with Ash Center for Democratic Governance and Innovation at Harvard University as an expert on today’s Vietnam, “How they have rebuilt a country.”[1]
